Katarzyna Olszyńska, M.Sc.
Short Bio
I am a researcher and developer working at the intersection of extended reality (XR), robotics, and AI for medical applications. My work centers on spatial computing and agentic AI systems for physical robots - XR interfaces for robotic arms (Franka Emika Panda, ROS2/MoveIt2, Meta Quest 3), multimodal human-robot interaction, and visualizations that keep clinicians in meaningful control of (semi-)autonomous systems in complex procedural environments. With an MSc in Cognitive Science (AI and neuroscience), I combine hands-on technical development - from real-time robot control to LLM/VLM-driven agentic pipelines - with human-centered research methods grounded in how people perceive, decide, and act.
