Short Bio

I am a researcher and developer working at the intersection of extended reality (XR), robotics, and artificial intelligence for medical applications. I build spatial computing systems - XR interfaces for robotic arms, multimodal interaction concepts, and visualizations that keep clinicians in meaningful control of (semi-)autonomous systems in complex procedural environments. With an MSc in Cognitive Science (specializing in AI and neuroscience), I combine hands-on technical development with human-centered research methods grounded in how people perceive, decide, and act.

Selected Awards & Hackathon Projects:

  • Hackathon Winner - XR Medical Augmented Reality Summer School (MARSS), Apr 2026. Embodied AI-Driven Ultrasound Robotic System: an LLM/VLM core that understands ultrasound workflows, recognizes scanning stages in real time, and interprets live probe imagery to guide robotic manipulation
  • 1st Place, "Meta AI & Camera Access" track - XRCC Online Hackathon (Immersive Insiders), Dec 2025. Safe Walk: an AI-powered smart-glasses companion supporting people during vulnerable moments when walking alone
  • Runner-Up, Horizon Worlds category - XRAI Hackathon (SensAI Hackademy), Aug 2025. CellCrush: a serious-game prototype turning chemotherapy into an interactive, empowering experience for children
