Aurelia Föllner, M.Sc.
Short Bio
I completed my Bachelor's and Master's at the University of Duisburg-Essen in Applied Cognitive Science, a mix of psychology and computer science, which is primarily focused on Human-Computer-Interaction.
In my bachelor's thesis I developed a game in VR for children to aid them in understanding and learning basic mathematical concepts. During my time as a student and research assistant I continued supporting research in that area. In 2024 I started a six month internship at the European Space Agency, focused on the use of VR for astronaut training and prototype showcasing. Moreover, I also wrote my master's thesis in cooperation with the ESA on the topic of simulated Head-Up Displays for supporting lunar surface mission procedures.
