Research Interests

My research interests are in the field of image processing and its medical application. My work focuses on automatic and interactive segmentation of anatomical structures in medical images by means of artificial intelligence. The overall goal of this work is to improve and accelerate the segmentation workflow in clinical practice and support clinician's work, e.g. in therapy planning or tumor staging.
