Best Poster Award
Florian Heinrich has been distinguished with a Best Poster Award together with Gerd Schmidt, Dr. med. Florian Jungmann and Jun.-Prof. Dr. Christian Hansen for the scientific contribution "Augmented Reality Visualisation Concepts to Support Intraoperative Distance Estimation" at the ACM Symposium on Virtual Reality Software and Technology (VRST) in Sydney, Australia. VRST is the premier international symposium for the presentation of new research results concerned with augmented, virtual and mixed reality (AR/VR/MR).
The work was carried in the DFG project "Improving Spatial Perception for Medical Augmented Reality using Illustrative Rendering and Auditory Display" as part of the research campus STIMULATE.
