Presentation at IEEE ISBI 2018

Anneke Meyer attended the 15th IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (ISBI) in Washington, D.C. from April 3rd to April 7th. The ISBI brought together more than 700 researchers from biological and medical imaging. Anneke Meyer presented her work about high resolution segmentation of the prostate in MR images. The novelty of her work comprises the use of multi-planar MRI volumes instead of just the single axial scan in order to obtain more accurate segmentation results. More details can be read here, as her work was selected for an interview: https://www.rsipvision.com/ISBI2018-Thursday/10/

During the symposium, computer scientist, biologists, physicists, radiologists and researchers from other fields introduced their projects about segmentation, registration, acquisition and reconstruction of biomedical images. Thus, the symposium was a great opportunity for Anneke Meyer to discuss her work with other researchers and to make new contacts.
