Best Paper Award
Marko Rak, researcher at the research campus STIMULATE and the Faculty of Computer Science at the Otto-von-Guericke University, has been distinguished with a Best Paper Award (Honorable Mention) together with Prof. Dr. Klaus Tönnies for the scientific contribution "Star Convex Cuts with Encoding Swaps for Fast Whole-Spine Vertebra Segmentation in MRI" at the International Symposium on Vision, Modeling and Visualization (VMV). The work was carried out as part of the DFG project Visual Analytics in Public Health.
