New Deep Learning Workstations

Anneke Meyer (Computer Assisted Surgery Group, Faculty of Computer Science) and Johannes Steffen (Image Processing Group, Faculty of Computer Science) successfully applied for two new Deep Learning Workstations. With the new workstations, students of Computational Visualistics, Computer Science and Medical Engineering will investigate machine learning algorithms for medicine. The work is performed in strong cooperation with the research campus STIMULATE. The Deep Learning Workstations are funded by an internal grant (€17.800) from the Faculty of Computer Science at Otto-von-Guericke University of Magdeburg.
