Description
Important topics in the field of Human-Machine Interaction are presented and discussed in this seminar. These topics are:
- Human-Machine Interaction in Radiology
- Human-Machine Interaction in Surgery
- Usability Engineering for Medical Devices
- Clinical Evaluation of Human-Machine Interfaces
After an introduction into the field of computer-assisted surgery, the above-mentioned topics are presented in form of student presentations.
Therefore, scientific publications are provided by the lecturer.
The aim of this seminar is to provide an overview about Human-Machine Interaction in medicine. In addition, students can train and improve their
skills in scientific reading, presentation and discussion.
The number of participants for this seminar is limited. A registration via LSF is required.
Important Information/Rules
- Successful registration via LSF required for participation
- Topic selection: May 27, 10 am
- Registration in the examination office until June, 15
- Submission of electronic version to the lecturer required (not later than 7 days before your presentation)
- Decision of the lecturer about face-to-face meeting is made 5 days before your presentation
- Actice participation in the seminar
- Oral presentation of the selected topic (18 min + 12 min discussion)
- Decision about final grade is made directly after the seminar
